It depends on the model. Some umbrellas come with a matching base, while others are sold as pole and canopy only, so check each listing before ordering.

What base weight do I need for my patio umbrella?

7-9 ft umbrellas need at least 50 lbs of base weight, and umbrellas 10 ft and larger need 70-100+ lbs. Go heavier in windy locations.

Can I use any base with any umbrella?

Not always. The base opening has to match your umbrella's pole diameter, and cantilever umbrellas need an offset-style base instead of a center-pole one.

How do I keep my umbrella and base stable in wind?
